You haven't seen me here lately because I am close, SO CLOSE to finishing the first draft of the wildest, goofiest, sexiest thriller ever to hit Ocean City, Maryland. I've mentally gone downy ocean, hon, and I'll be back before you know it with a story as salty and vinegary as a bucket of Thrasher's Fries.

Indeed it is, Izolda--and I finished the draft last week! Next up: revisions. You know how that goes. Thanks for the encouragement! It really means a lot, as I'm sure you know.
Thanks Ava! The photo was intended for this post--I was trying to convey the notion of "privacy, please." However, you're not the only person who has asked me the same question. One person said that if I wanted to finish the novel maybe I ought to stop hanging out with my friends in restaurants and start writing. Hmmmm.
